Ana received her Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from "Politehnica" University in Timisoara, Romania. Ana's major concentration of study was Organic Compounds Technology with additional work in Pharmaceutical Products Technologies. Previously employed as a Research Scientist with the National Institute for Research and Development in Condensed Matter from Timisoara, Romania, her extensive experience includes pharmaceutical products synthesis and characterization, organic dyes and paints, supercritical fluid extractions, food additives and emulsifiers, phase transfer catalytic processes and a wide range of analytical laboratory methods and techniques.

Since joining ARDL, Ana has participated in more than 30 short-courses, training seminars and certifications in the analytical chemistry field. She is responsible for Chemotherapy/Chemical Permeation Testing, Gas Permeability Testing, Biocompatibility Testing and FDA Approval/Certification Testing. Ana is co-inventor for one US/CE patent and has written/co-written 12 journal articles and poster/technical presentations.
