Jon received a B.S. in Chemistry from The University of Akron. He has 31 years of experience in the rubber industry including compounding, mixing, calendering, molding, rubber-fabric adhesion, and development projects. He has worked for a major rubber manufacturer in the tire development group, and was chief chemist and technical director for two rubber companies. For the last 13 years, he has been a consultant to the rubber industry.

Jon is responsible for all phases of the mixing and processing department. These responsibilities include project flow, report writing, mixing and curing specs, customer inquiries, quotations, and the hiring and training of new personnel.
