Satish joined the ARDL team in 2005 and earned a B.S. In Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India; an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada; and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He has over 32 years of R&D and management experience in the tire and rubber industry and has worked with companies including General Tire, Gencorp, Goodyear and a small specialty polymer and chemical company. His technical expertise and work experience include tire and rubber reinforcement, rubber compounding, fabric-rubber adhesion, adhesion testing, emulsion polymer synthesis, characterization and application of latex polymers, development of adhesives and coatings, surface science, polymer blends along with formulation and characterization of thermoplastic elastomers and composites. He is the inventor/co-inventor of 22 US patents.
