This is a very simple test performed simply by measuring the relative mass of the material and comparing that to an equal volume of water. It is one of the most widely used tests after production quantities are produced to assure proper ingredient levels and batch to batch consistency. The density of the material is compared to the theoretical density of the reconstructed formulation to assure that a proper analysis has been performed.
