ASTM D 2240
Standard Test Method for Rubber Property-Durometer Hardness

Shore A Hardness Description:
The hardness of the sample is generally reported when the submitted sample permits a proper hardness to be obtained. It is then used as a crosscheck to make sure that if a sample was produced based on ARDL's reconstructed formulation, it would have that hardness if it was properly mixed and processed.
ARDL can test to additional standardized specifications as well as custom specifications.
