Smoke & Flame

Understanding a material’s propensity to burn and spread flames is crucial for many applications. Smoke and flame testing help designers and engineers understand the safety of their materials when exposed to potentially dangerous conditions. ARDL provides customers with testing to meet federal regulations as well as standard tests for quality, development and material selection. ARDL offers vertical burn, horizontal burn and a variety of other test methods to measure the propagation of smoke and flame properties of rubber and plastic materials.
