Impact Testing
ARDL is a trusted source for a variety of ISO, ASTM and other impact test specifications for plastic materials. Customers choose ARDL to perform impact testing on rigid materials using methods such as IZOD Impact, Charpy Impact, Gardner Impact and more. Our test lab provides the equipment and environmental conditions needed to ensure that your material will meet the spec and impact situations in the field.
Instrumented Impact Testing is designed to provide load versus deformation response of plastics under essentially multiaxial deformation conditions at impact velocities. It further provides a measure of the rate sensitivity of the material to impact. ARDL provides load and displacement sensor measurements to aid in material selection and design.
