Mixing, Processing & Curing

ARDL’s capability to mix your compound in-house, prior to molding and testing, greatly reduces variability and provides additional levels of process control. ARDL has a complete laboratory scale mixing facility with BR mixers, mills and calendering capabilities. We have multiple presses, extruders and a variety of molds and extruder dies for various applications.

ARDL’s Mixing, Processing, & Curing Department offers testing to analyze and measure the processability of materials following a variety of ASTM test methods.  We can measure viscosity and stress relaxation, pre-vulcanization characteristics, mold shrinkage, extrudability, Mooney Viscometer testing, capillary rheometry, and many more.  Our experts will work with you to evaluate and improve the processability of your materials, whether they are for transfer or compression molding, extrusion, calendering or any other process.
