Melt Flow Rate

Melt Flow Rate measures the rate that thermoplastics flow through an orifice at a given load and temperature over a defined period of time. ARDL’s test equipment specific to the determination of melt flow rate helps our customers with the determination of the rate of extrusion of molten thermoplastic resins. This data assists when attempting to indicate the uniformity of the flow rate of polymer specific to a molding/extrusion process designated by material engineers in material development.
